Basking Ridge resident among Oak Knoll students signing National Letters of Intent
Kirby Comizio, of Basking Ridge, was one of four Oak Knoll seniors to sign the letters to continue their athletic pursuits in college

SUMMIT, NJ, November 11, 2015 – Four senior athletes from Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child signed early National Letters of Intent Wednesday, confirming their commitment to continue athletic pursuits at the collegiate level.
Joined by their parents, faculty and administrators, Kirby Comizio, signed with Duke University to play field hockey, while Cassandra Ford, Katherine Kelly and Jacklyn McCall signed to play lacrosse for the University of Notre dame, Colgate University and the University of California - Berkeley, respectively.
· Comizio, of Basking Ridge, has played field hockey since middle school at midfield and defense positions. A four-year player at Oak Knoll and the team’s current captain, Comizio was named Third Team All-State last year. Comizio also currently serves as the president of Oak Knoll’s Athletic Council.

· Ford, of Summit, helped lead the team that won the lacrosse program’s first Tournament of Champions title in June. Ford also played soccer and basketball at Oak Knoll. As a member of the lacrosse team, Ford earned U.S Lacrosse High School All-American honors. She was selected First-Team All-Conference, League, Group and Division. Like Comizio, Ford was also named Third Team All-State.
· Kelly, of Summit, has played both soccer and lacrosse each year at Oak Knoll. Kelly also has been a member of Oak Knoll’s ice hockey club team since its inaugural season in 2014. During her freshman year in lacrosse, Kelly was recognized for outstanding defense. She was similarly honored as MVP of the ice hockey team last year.

· McCall, of Summit, has been playing lacrosse for five years. She played as goalie during her freshman, sophomore and junior campaigns. She is especially proud of winning the TOC last year and is eager to join her teammates this spring when the nationally-ranked team will look to defend its crown.
