No Surprises In Bernards Township Committee 2022 Primary Election

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The polls are closed and the unofficial votes 2022 Primary Election results for Bernards Township Committee are tallied.

There was only one Republican and one Democrat running in the uncontested primary election.

Here are the real-time unofficial results for the Bernards Township Committee (keep checking back throughout the night as Patch updates the results as they come in):

• Jessica Simpson-Cook - Democrat - 1,313
• Janice M. Fields - Republican* - 1,586

Both candidates will now run for the one, three-year township committee seat in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 8. The Bernards Township Mayor and Committee is currently made up entirely of Republicans.
