The video includes the candidates' introductory statement about themselves as well as an answer to the first question, which was posed by the Ridge students who organized the forum. That question was: "Please explain what your priorities would be for Bernards Township schools if you were faced with the need to cut programs due to budget constraints."

He lists his profession as technical product manager. In that capacity, he said he talks with customers to understand their requirements and issues. Ingling said he then communicates that information back to another team to formulate " and then communicate these back to another team in order to formulate what he calls the "best, most efficient, outcome based on need, resources, and risk."
"I will employ these skills in order to deliver a school program that balances the needs of our students, community and school administration," Ingling said in a written statement.
The most important issue will be to maintain an outstanding school program amongst various future uncertainties(rising costs , school funding, state-mandated curriculum changes).
"As a board member, I will use my 'roll up the sleeves' work ethic in order to better understand the options and then assist in implementing short and long term solutions," Ingling said.
