Arman Roy Foundation to Host 8th Annual 5K Run for Hope in Basking Ridge (tapinto.net) — A community 5K Run for Hope is set for Sunday, Sept. 13 at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge, with in-person and virtual options to support technology education for underserved students. Families can enjoy a Kids Fun Run, music, contests, Kona Ice, and event T‑shirts while helping the Arman Roy Foundation reach a $40,000 fundraising goal.
   

5. Watershed Institute Receives $35,000 Grant to Monitor Harmful Algal Blooms (tapinto.net) — From Basking Ridge, residents are learning that The Watershed Institute has secured a $35,000 grant to better monitor and prevent harmful algal blooms across central New Jersey waterways. New high-tech equipment and expanded volunteer and education programs aim to protect regional water quality and inform local officials, environmental groups, and community members.
