Friends of Great Swamp NWR and USFWS will hold a Third Saturday Guided Walk on May 16, 2026, from 1:30-3:00 pm. Friends volunteer naturalist, Corinne Errico, will lead this walk at the Wildlife Observation Center.
The WOC has 1.2 miles of boardwalk and stone dust trails. You will listen and look for birds and turtles as you travel over the swamp.
Bring your binoculars. Dogs are not allowed on Refuge trails.
Registration is not necessary. Walkers will meet at the Great Swamp Wildlife Observation Center, 220 Long Hill Road, Gillette, NJ 07933.
