Friends of Great Swamp NWF will present awards for the winners of the 2026 Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge Photo contest on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the outdoor Pavilion at Helen C. Fenske Visitor Center, 32 Pleasant Plains Rd., Harding Township, NJ.
This year 126 photos were submitted by 32 photographers. All photographers, family, and friends are invited to the presentation at 1:30 PM.
Judges Mike Anderson, Bill Koch, and Bonnie O’Connor will share their comments on the winning pictures from Great Swamp NWR. Photographers will be invited to tell the story behind the photo. A gallery of winning photos will later be added to the Friends of Great Swamp NWR website (www.friendsofgreatswamp.org).
Please note, due to ongoing construction at the Visitor Center, there will be no Great Swamp NWF Fall Festival this year.
