Hillsborough's Electronic Waste Drop-Off Scheduled For May 2
The Electronic Waste Drop-off is scheduled for Saturday May 2 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South County Public Works Garage.

HILLSBOROUGH – Need to declutter? Somerset County Freeholder Melonie Marano, recycling liaison, urges residents to practice social distancing while visiting the next free-of-charge Saturday Electronic Waste Drop-off event on May 2, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South County Public Works Garage, located at 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.

Residents must wear facial coverings and gloves. Occupants should remain in their vehicles with the windows shut until otherwise directed. Residents will also be expected to remove items without assistance and place items as instructed by staff.
Proof of residency is required such as (a current driver's license, valid lease, tax bill or any other bill with a Somerset County address). Pre-registration is not required. No businesses or commercial vehicles are allowed.

Batteries are not accepted: Residents can recycle household hazardous waste including lithium and rechargeable batteries at scheduled Household Hazardous Waste drop-off events. AA, AAA, D, C and 9-volt batteries can be disposed of in the regular trash.
