Primary Election Results Certified In Bernards 2023 Commitee Race

The Somerset County Clerk certified vote totals in local elections this week, including in the Bernards Township race.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The final vote tally for the primary elections were certified on Monday, June 19, by the Somerset County Clerk. This did not change the projected election outcome.

Basking Ridge voters headed to the polls on June 6 to cast ballots. Their choices this year included seats on the Township Committee.

Both Committee races for Republicans and Democrats were uncontested in the primary election.

With all districts reporting, here are the certified results, according to the Somerset County Clerk's Office:

All four candidates will now run for the two, three-year township committee seats in the general election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Currently, the Bernards Township Committee is currently made up entirely of Republicans.
