Hoboken Joins Regional Legal Effort Over Commercial Helicopter Operations (tapinto.net) — Bayonne has joined Hoboken, Hudson County, Jersey City, and Kearny in a shared legal effort challenging commercial helicopter operations they say harm residents' health, safety, and quality of life. Under a regional agreement, Bayonne will contribute up to $10,000 toward litigation and expert costs as officials push for stricter controls on nonessential helicopter traffic over local neighborhoods.
   

5. Bayonne man faces additional charge in Long Island stalking case (newsday.com) — A 47-year-old Bayonne man is facing an additional felony contempt charge in a Long Island stalking case involving a Suffolk County nurse, after prosecutors say he violated an order of protection with new text messages in May. He has pleaded not guilty and remains held without bail as authorities detail years of alleged harassment and prior arrests.
