The following event information comes courtesy of the Friends of the Nutley Public Library, which raises funds to supplement library programs and equipment. RESTAURANT FUNDRAISER

On April 16, 2024, The Friends of the Nutley Public Library will host a Fundraiser at Chris and Angie’s restaurant at 545 Franklin Avenue, Nutley.

We invite you to join us any time for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for dine in or take out. Chris and Angie’s is open from 7am – 8pm.

Just mention the Friends fundraiser and a percentage of your order will be donated to the Friends.

BOOK SALE

The Friends of the Nutley Public Library are holding their popular Spring Book Sale on Thursday April 18 from 10am to 7pm and Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20 from 10-4, in the Stockton Room at Nutley Public Library.

On Wednesday, April 17 from 4-7pm, there will be a Preview for Nutley Public Library Cardholders!

If you have books to donate to the sale, donation days are April 13, 15 and 16 from 10-4.

  • Accepted items: Clean and gently used hardcovers, paperbacks, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs
  • Not accepted: dictionaries, encyclopedias, magazines, textbooks, VHS tapes

AUTHOR TEA FUNDRAISER

The Friends of the Nutley Public Library are holding their annual LeeRae O’Brien Author Tea Fundraiser on Wednesday May 22, 2024 at 6:30 pm at the Nutley Public Library.

This special fundraiser will feature Farnoosh Torabi, financial expert, host of the “So Money” podcast and author of A Healthy State of Panic. Farnoosh will visit with guests and chat and sign copies of her book.

Finger sandwiches, dessert and tea will be prepared and served by Personal Chef Theresa Hosseiny of T’s Taste. The event will also include a silent auction and music.
