Bayville Motorcyclist Struck On Route 9 In Lacey Sunday: Police
The motorcyclist's injuries were not believed to be life threatening, Lacey authorities said.
LACEY, NJ — A motorcyclist was "severely injured" after colliding with a vehicle Sunday morning on Route 9, Lacey police said. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, said Lacey Detective Lieutenant Chris Cornelius.
The accident took place at about 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of Route 9 and Bay Way. The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Bayville man, was airlifted to the hospital for internal injuries, Cornelius said. A Lanoka Harbor woman was driving a motor vehicle in the collision, according to police. Neither party was identified.
Cornelius did not yet have information on whether either person was at fault or details on how the accident occurred.
