Berkeley Announces Children's Recreation Programs

Berkeley Township Recreation's Saturday Programs for Winter 2019 are open for registration. The programs, which cost $70 per child, run from Feb. 2 to March 30 — but will be off Feb. 16 — at the Berkeley Recreation Center (630 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville).

The program is open to children from kindergarten to sixth grade. Activities include the following:

Arts & Crafts, 10 to 11:30 a.m. The program includes painting, ceramics and holiday crafts.

Intro to Drama, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Children learn the basics of acting, projecting, singing and set building. Students will perform a show April 6 at Central Regional High School.

Out & About, noon. Mini-travel days that include trips to Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant Beach, rollerskating, gymnastics, bowling and Bounce About Laser Tag.
