Berkeley Boy With Cerebral Palsy Celebrates New Bedroom
The Bayville Elks and community members celebrated Val Falzarano's new handicap-accessible bedroom and bathroom.

BERKELEY, N.J. — It took a village, literally, to make Valentino "Val" Falzarano's living arrangements possible. The Bayville Elks and the Bayville Elks Motorcycle Committee attended Val's home Sunday to see his new handicap-accessible bedroom and bathroom.
Val, who has cerebral palsy, is a special needs ambassador for Bayville Elks Lodge #2394. The Elks raised $10,000 in October to add an accessible bedroom and bathroom to his home. But unexpected expenses interfered, such as needs for new electric and plumbing setups.

Several months and community fundraisers later, Val's new room became possible. Members of the Bayville Elks and their Motorcycle Committee, including Mayor Carmen F. Amato and Councilman James Byrnes, went to Val's home to admire his new room.
The Motorcycle Committee even made Val an honorary member and give him his own MC leather vest.
