Berkeley Man Found Dead Off Toms River: Police
The unidentified 68-year-old man was reported missing Tuesday, police said.

BERKELEY, NJ — The body of a missing Berkeley man was found Wednesday morning off Ortley Beach, Berkeley police said. Officials found no signs of foul play in the preliminary investigation of the unidentified 68-year-old man's death.
Officials responded to a Seabright Ave. home at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday for a missing-person report. He was found at about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. The man's waterfront home is on the Toms River at the Barnegat Bay, police said.
Berkeley police called it "likely he may have fallen into the bay." Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy told the Asbury Park Press that authorities think he hit his head before falling.
