Berkeley MUA Flushing Hydrants Until November

The flushing is being done at night.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Berkeley Township Municipal Utilities Authority has announced that it is flushing hydrants through early November.

The flushing will be performed at night, from 8 p.m. until midnight, according to a notice on the township's website.

The flushing may cause low water pressure and some discoloration of the water as a result. It affects only Berkeley MUA customers.

The hydrant flushing began Monday and is expected to continue through Nov. 2.
