Berkeley Recreation's Summer Camp Returning Soon

Correction: Berkeley Township offers online registration, as well as in-person.

BERKELEY, N.J. — Berkeley Recreation's summer camp is coming soon. Registration is open until June 14 or until camp fills up.

The camp features in-person and online registration. Bring completed forms to the Recreation office or bring them on the first day of camp, if paying online. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Summer camp runs from July 8 to Aug. 16. It will feature two locations this year:

• July 8-26 at Central Regional Middle School (509 Forest Hills Parkway), where camp will take place rain or shine
• July 29 to Aug. 16: Veterans Park (489 Forest Hills Parkway), where some days may be cancelled due to inclement weather

Central Regional Middle School will also offer campers a break from the heat.

Camp costs $210 for the first child and $185 for each additional child in your household.

Before and after care is also available for working parents. AM Care takes place from 7:30-9 a.m. each day and costs $200. PM Care runs from 3-6 p.m. and costs $300. Enrolling in both costs $450.
