BERKELEY, NJ — Central Regional's JROTC led a special flag ceremony to commemorate September 11th. They raised and lowered the school's American flag at 8:46 a.m. — the minute the first plane hit the World Trade Center.
The Cadets also unfurled a giant American flag and performed a salute while Central Regional schools held a moment of silence.
There were several 9/11 commemorations throughout Ocean County on the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
