The Central Regional field hockey team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-1 victory over Pinelands in Shore Conference Class B South on Thursday.
Fran Figurelli had two goals and an assist and Lauren Castellano scored twice as the Golden Eagles (2-0, 2-0) dominated. Alexa Padula had three saves for Central.
The Golden Eagles were scheduled to face Brick Memorial in Brick at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
