Central's Alyssa Dias Taking Soccer Talents To Georgian Court
The senior goalkeeper will join a Lions' team that has been a top presence in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

BERKELEY, NJ — Alyssa Dias of Bayville, who played for the the Central Regional Golden Eagles, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her education and soccer career at Georgian Court University in Lakewood.
Dias, a 5-foot-7 goalkeeper, will join a Lions' squad that has been one of the top teams in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference for several years.
She played her senior season for Central after missing the junior campaign while she played for Cedar Stars Academy-Monmouth, which is a part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. She more recently has played for PDA Shore Fusion, which won the 2018 Eastern Regional Championship division title while reaching the final of this year's NJ Youth Soccer State Cup. She also has experience with the '01 U.S. Olympic Development Program. She was a defender for the Eagles her freshman and sophomore years.

Dias recorded more than 115 saves in 2018 for the Golden Eagles, who play in Shore Conference Class A South. Statistics recorded on NJ.com for Central's season were not complete.
"We are very excited to have Alyssa join our program," said Jim Moore, Georgian Court's head coach. "She will bring a tremendous amount of high-level club experience to the goaltending position at Georgian Court. She is an athletic and quick keeper, who has the ability to make all the necessary saves."
