Coastal Ocean Beach Report For July 3, 2016
Partly sunny skies, cool temperatures expected for today.

The National Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies, with temperatures in the upper 70s.
Beach winds will be from the west around five miles per hour, becoming southwest in the afternoon. The surf will be around two to three feet, with two-foot swells. The surf temperature will be from the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
The rip current risk today is low. But strong currents can still occur near piers and jetties. Rip currents are still possible in other areas, also especially during low tide. Swim only in guarded areas and talk to guards about possible surf zone hazards, the NWS says.
