Coastal Ocean Beach Report For June 14, 2016
Low rip current risk, chilly ocean temperature on tap for today.

The National Weather Service is calling for another near perfect day at the beach.
Expect sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s. Beach winds will be from the northwest around 10 miles per hour, switching over to the west in the afternoon.
The surf will be from two to three feet, with south swells around two feet. Be prepared for cold water, with temperatures only in the 60s.

There is a low risk of rip current today. But strong currents can occur near piers and jetties. Rip currents are also possible in other areas, especially during low tide. Swim only where guards are present and ask them about any areas to avoid.
And bring your sunscreen. The UVI is a 9.
