Coastal Ocean Beach Report For June 15, 2016

One more decent beach day before the clouds come.

You can still squeeze in one more beach day before the clouds start to come and the rain arrives.

The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 70s. Beach winds have switched to the south at five to 10 miles per hour.

The surf will be one to two feet, with a south swell round two feet. The surf temperature is still a chilly 65 degrees. The rip current risk is low, much like it has been for the past week. But strong currents can still occur near piers and jetties. Rips are also possible in other areas, especially during low tide.
