Coastal Ocean Beach Report For June 24, 2016
Cloudy skies, moderate risk of rip currents are expected.

The National Weather Service is calling for cloudy skies, patchy dense fog and a moderate risk of rip currents in coastal Ocean County today.
There's a chance of showers and a high temperature around 70 degrees. Expect east winds around 10 miles per hour. The surf will be around three feet, with a south swell between two to three feet. The surf temperature is still a chilly 68 degrees.
There's a moderate risk of rip currents today, which means wind and or wave conditions support stronger or more frequent rip currents. You should always have a flotation device with you in the water and swim only in guarded areas.

There is no lightning threat today. The UV index is an 8, which is considered high.
High tide at Barnegat Inlet will occur at 11:15 p.m. The next low tide is at 5:21 p.m, followed by another high tide at 11:28 p.m.
