Sunny skies, water is warming up, moderate rip current risk.

A great beach day. Expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-70s.
Beach winds will be from the northeast at 10 miles per hour. The surf will bearound three feet, with southeast swells around two feet in the morning, becoming lighter during the day. The surf temperature will be around 69 degrees.
There's a moderate risk of rip currents today, so make sure you have a flotation device with you in the water. A moderate risk means that wind or wave conditions can support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Swim only in guarded areas. There is no lightning threat today.

Low tide at Barnegat Inlet was at 6:11 a.m. High tide will occur at 12:07 p.m., followed by another low tide at 6:17 p.m.
