Dead Dolphin Washes Ashore At Island Beach State Park

Twenty-six dolphins have stranded in New Jersey as of May 30, according to Marine Mammal Stranding Center data.

SEASIDE PARK, NJ — A dead dolphin washed ashore Tuesday at Island Beach State Park, according to reports.

News 12 New Jersey reporter Jim Murdoch shared photos of the dead dolphin laying in the surf on social media.

Few details were immediately available about the dolphin, but NJ.com reported that the Marine Mammal Stranding Center had sent workers to investigate.
