Forum on Mental Health Issues Coming Up Tonight In Lacey

Professionals will focus on depression, anxiety, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder.

Six mental health professionals will speak tonight at the Lacey branch of the Ocean County Library at 10 East Lacey Road.

The public is invited to attend the free event, which starts at 7 p.. Panelists will discuss depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorder, grief and more.

The panelists will also raise awareness of mental health concerns in order to reduce the stigma that is often attached to those issues.

A question and answer segment will follow the panelists’ presentations.

The panelists include:

Dr. Tony Juneja, MD, psychiatrist who specializes in ADD, ADHD, bipolar disorder and depression.

Pamela A. Schott, LCSW, CPM, DRCC and Director of Children’s Services, Ocean Mental Health Services.

Mike Leotis, Peer Specialist for Journey to Wellness Self Help Center and Ocean Mental Health Services.

Michael Roche, Vice President of NAMI Ocean County.

Sue Crane, LCSW from the St. Francis Center on Long Beach Island, specializing in grief and trauma.

Heather Popielarczyk, an art teacher of children and adults with special needs.
