Lacey Police Investigating Burglary And Theft At Shore Metric
Suspect or suspects pried open a window in the building to gain entry.

Lacey police recently responded to a report of a burglary and theft in the Lacey Township Business Park, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer John Simonson responded to Shore Metric, 700 Challenger Way at 7:53 a.m. on Feb. 9. The owner told police that sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8 and 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 9 someone entered the business by prying open an exterior window to the building. The suspect or suspects unsuccessfully tried to pry open a safe, the chief said.
A jar containing approximately $300 in loose change was reported stolen. The damage to the window is estimated at $350 and the damage to the safe is estimated at $250, Paprota said.
