BERKELEY, NJ — There's a lot of news to keep up with right now — locally, nationally and worldwide. Here's a recap of coronavirus updates in Berkeley.

Cases

The Ocean County Health Department has 381 cases and 43 coronavirus deaths in Berkeley as of Wednesday. Check here for daily updates from the OCHD.

The department has reported 5,171 cases and 274 deaths in Ocean County.

The State has reported the following in Berkeley longterm care facilities as of Wednesday:

• Crystal Lake Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center: 80 cases, 10 deaths
• Tallwoods Care Center: four cases, no deaths

Testing

Ocean County coronavirus testing will remain at Ocean County College after all. The County reversed its decision Friday to move the drive-thru testing site to the Ocean County Fire and First Aid Training Center in Waretown.

"Starting April 20, we are moving from the parking lot at Ocean County College to a more secure structure that will be more helpful to the hospital workers and other staff that will be administering the test," said Ocean County Sheriff Michael G. Mastronardy.

Rite Aid on Mule Road in Toms River now offers coronavirus testing. Patients will have to swab their nostrils themselves. MORE.

Schools

New Jersey schools will be closed through at least May 15, Governor Phil Murphy announced Thursday. MORE.

Restrictions and Updates

• Berkeley Township partnered with Fulfill to provide "crisis" food kits to families in need during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus. The food kits provide a family of four with basic groceries. MORE.
