Massive Police Presence At Bayville Home, But Reason Not Divulged Yet
Police chief said report won't be available until Friday at the earliest.
Traffic on Route 9 North in Bayville nearly slowed to a halt on Thursday, as drivers craned their necks to see what was going on at a battered green, two-story home surrounded by as many as 20 police cars and law enforcement vehicles.
But the reason for the massive police presence remained unknown on Thursday night.
Berkeley Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele declined to discuss what was going on.

Police clustered near the back of the home, which had another small house and vegetable gardens. At one point, a loud boom was heard towards the back. A helicopter clattered back and forth for at least an hour.
