Number Of Vendors For Berkeley's Farmer's Market More Than Doubles From 2015
Township's second annual market debuts on Tuesday.

Township officials are hoping this year's farm market will really take off, with the addition of more vendors and a new venue.
"We are very excited," Councilman Angelo Guadagno said at a recent Township Council meeting. "There's going to be a lot of great stuff there this year. Please come out and support it. It's something we need to do."

So far the number of vendors has more that doubled, from five last year to eleven so far this year. And more may be jumping on board, he said.
The first market is coming up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 10 at the Berkeley Township Recreation Center's parking lot on Route 9 South.

Last year's market - the township's first - was held at Veterans Park in Bayville. But some thought the location was too out of the way, so it was changed this year.
