OceanFirst Bank Awards $10,000 Grant To Clara B. Worth School In Bayville
The school was one of 15 out of 73 that applied for the grant.
The Clara B. Worth Elementary School in Berkeley recently won a $10,000 grant from the OceanFirst Foundation through the Model Classroom initiative, school officials and the foundation announced.
It was one of 15 schools -- out of 73 that applied -- to win the grant, according the foundation. The Model Classroom grant allowed schools to present a program or a plan for a classroom for a specific learning enterprise. Schools from throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties applied.
