• Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Recognized (jerseyshoreonline.com) — Berkeley Township is marking September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, declaring September 17 as Emiliana Day and encouraging residents and businesses to display gold bows in support. Local schools will hold lemonade sales on September 18 to benefit Emiliana's Hope, a foundation funding osteosarcoma research. Township officials also recognized Boy Scout Pack 78 for cleaning up Serpentine Drive.
