An accident took place on the Garden State Parkway in southern Ocean County on Friday morning, authorities said. Officials said to avoid the area of mile marker 69 southbound.

Two right lanes on the southbound side were blocked in Ocean Township, according to 511nj.org.

The Ocean County Sheriff's Office announced the crash at 10:25 a.m. via Nixle.
