Seaside Heights Cancels Beach Camping, Bonfire and Concert Tonight Due To Weather
All events will be rescheduled, officials say.

Seaside Heights officials have canceled its jam-packed schedule for Monday night to due a rainy forecast.
Full Moon Beach Camping, Bonfire on the Beach and the Total Soul Motown concert will all be rescheduled, according to the borough Facebook page.
Officials checked numerous weather forecasts, including commercial aviation and marine predictions and all are calling for rain, and thunderstorms with lightning during the late afternoon and overnight hours.

"Many of you are driving in from long distances, so we opted to cancel sooner rather than later," the post states. "We plan to reschedule all of the events and we will advise you of the new dates."
Any campers who registered for the Aug. 7 date will be automatically registered for the new date.

"If you are unable to make the new date, we ask that you please cancel your tickets so that campers on the wait list can be invited."
