Some Of The Proceeds From Today's Berkeley Farmers' Market Will Go To Fallen Dallas Police Officers
The market runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the
Buy something at the Berkeley Township Farmers' Market today and help the families of the fallen Dallas police officers.
A portion of the proceeds from "Fire in the Hole! Pig roast and BBQ" will be going to the families of the five officers who died in a massacre in Dallas last week, Township Councilman Angelo Guadagno said.
The market started out in April, with just five vendors. That number has since grown to 15, Township Councilman Angelo Guadagno has said.

More vendors and a new location seem to be working for the second year of Berkeley's Farmers Market. All of the vendors should be on hand from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the township's Recreation Center on Route 9 South.
Last year's market was held at Veterans Park, which was less convenient for customers.

Tuesday all participating vendors should be on hand.
The township started the market three weeks earlier than most other area towns.
"We did it for the exposure," Guadagno has said. "Please take the time to stop by."
Fire in the Hole BBB will honor all those with proof of military service with discounts, Guadagno said.
Market vendors also accept credit cards, he said.
