At the same time, officers located an address in Forked River connected to the call, police said. Lacey police responded there and found out there was no issue as well.
Investigation found that this was likely a "swatting" situation, where false calls of violence are made to police to illicit a large emergency response. Once this was confirmed, follow-up investigation was initiated to locate the source and the caller.
