Wear Red Feb. 12 In Honor Of 'Carly Day' In Berkeley
Carly Day is in honor of Carly Fetzer, a spunky, courageous Bayville resident who passed away from a congenital heart defect in 2019.

BERKELEY, NJ — Mayor Carmen Amato is reminding all Berkeley residents to wear red on Feb. 12 in honor of "Carly Day."
Even though it's been nearly four years since Bayville resident Carly Fetzer passed away from a congenital heart defect, she's remembered every year in Berkeley on Carly Day.
"Carly was born with a congenital heart defect known as hypoplastic left heart syndrome," Amato said. "Carly's family and the Berkeley community remember Carly for her spunk, courage and perseverance as she enjoyed life for 18 years."
