WEATHER UPDATE: Snow To Fall Throughout New Jersey, Eastern PA As Bad Weather Continues
Hazardous Weather Outlook issued as National Weather Service now predicts snow will fall throughout state, and east PA, on Saturday morning.
First, hail. Then, snow.
The National Weather Service is now predicting that snow will fall throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania this weekend, with some of the first flakes coming mid-morning on Saturday (see photo).
Isolated thunderstorms were possible Friday as rain, hail and some snow are expected to pass through New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday.

The National Weather Service issued a ”Hazardous Weather Outlook,” saying strong, gusty winds could accompany the first storm as it moves through Friday. Thunderstorms were also possible.
Snow is then supposed to fall in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania in the mid-morning hours before changing to a wintry mix on Saturday.

The area that’s suppose to get the most is the Jersey Shore, though the National Weather Service did not report how many inches of snow will accumulate.
The Weather Channel believes the chance of snow is bigger than ”slight.”
The channel reported, on its weather.com site, that there is a 60 percent chance of snow hitting the state on Saturday.
The Weather Channel also reported that the snow will come in the afternoon - not the morning.
The combination of clouds, cold air, gusty winds and even some snowflakes flying in the Northeast will result in temperatures being 10-20 degrees lower than usual, according to an AccuWeather release.
Enough snow could fall to coat the ground from parts of the Northeast spanning Friday into Saturday as the cold air settles in, according to AccuWeather.
