Bernardsville, Bedminster Police To Participate In Operation Take Back Saturday

The Bernardsville and Bedminster Police will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

BERNARDSVILLE/BEDMINSTER, NJ — The Bedminster and Bernardsville Police Departments will be collecting potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction on Saturday.

This collection will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is part of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration's “Operation Take Back.”

This initiative seeks to prevent increased pill abuse and theft. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. All residents are encouraged to participate and dispose of their unwanted prescriptions in a safe manner.

Residents can drop off prescriptions at Bedminster Township Police Headquarters, 55 Miller Lane in Bedminster or Bernardsville Police Department, 166 Mine Brook Road in Bernardsville.
