• Revolutionary War Characters Coming To Bernardsville For First Pub Crawl (patch.com) — History buffs in Bernardsville can join a guided Revolutionary Pub Crawl on Oct. 10, featuring professional reenactors, storytelling, and live historical presentations at local establishments. Running from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., the event aims to bring Revolutionary War history into Bernardsville's streets while supporting local businesses with drinks and light fare included. Ticket sales close Oct. 3.
   

• Crimson Meets Scarlet: Bernards Marching Band Performs Along Rutgers Musicians (tapinto.net) — Bernards-area families can look forward to the Bernards High School Marching Band's "Night at the Movies" show at the Oct. 9 Homecoming game, where local seniors will be honored. The band recently performed alongside Rutgers' Marching Scarlet Knights and will soon welcome 8th graders from Bernardsville Middle School and Bedminster Township School into the stands to play upbeat tunes with them.
