Four Cars Stolen in Bernardsville

Two Mercedes Benz and two Range Rovers were stolen from two different borough residents early Tuesday morning, police report.

Bernardsville, NJ -- Four cars were stolen this morning in Bernardsville, police report.

Two late model Mercedes Benz vehicles and a late model Range Rover were stolen around 4 a.m. on Tuesday from a borough resident's driveway, police reported.

A search of the area was conducted by Bernardsville Police along with surrounding departments including Bernards Twp., Peapack Gladstone, Far Hills, Harding Twp., Mendham Police Departments, N.J. State Police and Warren Twp. Police Department K-9 Unit.

One car was found abandoned on Rt. 202 in Harding Twp. after a crash where the vehicle drove off the roadway, police said.

Another late model Range Rover was reported stolen from another borough resident at 6 a.m., police report.
