The Great American Solar Eclipse

In August, a total eclipse of the sun will be visible in the United States along a 70 mile wide path from Oregon to South Carolina. This will be the first total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States since 1979. A truly rare event! Learn about how and why an eclipse happens at Bernardsville Public Library on Tuesday, July 18 at 7:30 pm and how to be well prepared to view the year’s best astronomical event.
