Power Plant: 'Let's Stand Together to Oppose This Travesty'

Bedminster resident says if project is approved, town will lose its 'rural character.'

Bedminster Residents,

You may be aware that there is a threat against Bedminster Zoning.  A huge Power Plant is proposed for a currently zoned Farm/10 acre Residential Property in the South East Corner of the Township.  If our Zoning is broken, more of these could spread throughout the Township. A solar generating plant approximately the size of TWO Bridgewater Commons Malls, is being proposed for the Kirby Property at the corner of Country Club Rd and Meadow Road.

This proposed facility will be completely fenced off.  It will cover 30+ acres.  Once our zoning is broken on this scale, we can kiss our "rural character" goodbye.
I live 400 feet from the property line of this proposed monstrosity, so am keenly ware of the situation.  How close will YOU be to a future atrocity?

Imagine the view from properties on higher ground, looking down at the solar facility.

Please join me at the Land Use Board Meeting on November 14, Thursday at the Bedminster School.  We are hoping that concerned citizens will come out against this Industrial Sized Installation.

The power generated by this proposed plant will go ONLY to Sanofi, in Bridgewater.  Bedminster's Zoning will be destroyed to benefit this multinational, French based company, who RENTS their Bridgewater Facility.

Let's stand together to oppose this travesty.
