Trump Heading To Bedminster For Presidential Campaign Event

President Trump is expected to stay in Bedminster from Friday through Sunday. Locals should prepare for traffic delays, flight restrictions.

BEDMINSTER, NJ — President Donald Trump is heading to his Bedminster golf club for a campaign event on Friday.

The event for Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will take place at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster at 5 p.m. to support their candidacy for the 2020 presidential election.

Trump is expected to stay in Bedminster through Sunday, July 21 as the Federal Aviation Administration has issued a VIP Movement Notification for the Bedminster and Morristown area from Friday through Sunday.

His public schedule has not been released for the weekend yet and it is unclear what he will be doing the rest of the weekend in Bedminster at his Trump National Golf Course.

Specific flight instructions and restrictions will be available as it gets closer to the date. Along with flight restrictions, locals can also expect major delays or road closures during his travel times on Route 10, Route 24, and Route 287 around the airport and the golf club.

This is Trump's second visit to the golf course this summer. His first visit was during the Fourth of July weekend.

In previous summers, Trump has made near-weekly visits to the Trump National Golf Course through Labor Day. The visits have drawn mixed reactions from locals, with some proud to host the president and other's deriding the cost to the taxpayer.

  • Round-table, Photo and Reception VIP - $100,000
