Brick Announces Leaf Pickup Dates

If you're starting your fall cleanup, take note of when the town will be collecting them.

BRICK, NJ — The chill in the weather may be prompting you to start your fall cleanup, and Brick Township officials are preparing as well.

Here are the dates they will begin picking up bagged leaves curbside. Collection weeks will coordinate with your recycling schedule.

Leaves should be in untied bags at the curb by 6 a.m. on the first day of the collection week. There are two collection weeks scheduled for each recycling day.

The schedule is as follows:

  • If your recycling day is FRIDAY, your collection weeks begin Oct. 23 and Nov. 27
  • If your recycling day is MONDAY, your collection weeks begin Oct. 30 and Dec. 4
  • If your recycling day is TUESDAY, your collection weeks begin Nov. 6 and Dec. 11
  • If your recycling day is WEDNESDAY, your collection weeks begin Nov. 13 and Dec. 18
  • If your recycling day is THURSDAY, your collection weeks begin Nov. 20 and Dec. 26

Leaves should be bagged and the bags left untied. Do not put branches, twigs or other debris in bags.

Leaves may also be brought to the Brick Township Recycling Center, Ridge Road, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or to the Ocean County Recycling Center, New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood.
