The Brick Little League Mudcats are this year's championship team.
The Mudcats played agains the Lugnuts in the Championship game, according to Carolyn McGuigan, a volunteer with the team. The team swept through the playoffs with a 4-0 record, clinching the championship with an 8-5 victory over the Lugnuts.
The team included: Billy Burdge, Derek "DJ" Alton, Isaiah Del Valle, Jared Worman, Jesse Smith, John Buchanan, Jared Lott, Michael McGuigan, Michael "M&M" Melito, Nicholas Doubt and Nicholas Guiro.
