Monmouth Prosecutor: Brick Man Accused Of Leaving 3-Year-Old Alone While Shooting Heroin Indicted
John Broskey of Brick was arrested in August in Monmouth County

A Monmouth County grand jury has indicted a Brick Township man on charges of drug possession and child endangerment in connection with an incident at a gas station in August.
John A. Broskey, 39, of East Granada Drive, has been indicted on charges of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, heroin, according to Monmouth County court documents.
Broskey was arrested Aug. 30 in Ocean Township, Monmouth County, after police patrolling on Route 66 near Seaview Square Mall about 11 a.m. when they saw a suspicious car parked at a gas station. In it, they found the 3-year-old boy; the investigation revealed Broskey had parked the car so he could use heroin in the bathroom at the gas station.
