Brick Pair Face Heroin Charges Following Route 195 Stop: Police
Breaking: State police said the driver, Brian Schaller, also was charged with driving while intoxicated.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A pair of Brick Township men are facing drug charges after New Jersey State Police stopped their vehicle for a traffic violation on Route 195, police said.
Brian Schaller, 32, and Timothy Yeoman, 28, both from Brick, were arrested following the traffic stop shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday on Route 195 at milepost 1 in Hamilton, state police said.
Schaller was driving the vehicle east on Route 195 when police pulled the vehicle over and during the traffic stop, troopers determined Schaller was driving under the influence, police said.

Additionally, they discovered the two had 50 bags of heroin, worth $250, along with hypodermic needles, police said. Schaller also had an active arrest warrant, they said.
Schaller was charged with possession of heroin, failure to disclose a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles, criminal under the influence, and driving while intoxicated, police said.

Yeoman was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic needles, police said.
Both released pending court appearances, state police said.
