Weapons Seized At Six Flags From Man Who Wanted Job At Park: PD
A Glock, machete, tactical tomahawk and NYPD badge were in his car at the park, police said; they found an AR-15 and ammo at his home.
JACKSON, NJ — A Monmouth County man who police say was angry after Six Flags Great Adventure refused to hire him was arrested after he returned to the amusement park with a car full of weapons including a loaded handgun, a machete and a tomahawk, Jackson police said Friday.
Jonathan Fruchter, 38, of Allentown, was arrested Thursday morning, Capt. Steven Laskiewicz, after Sgt. Michael Kelly and Police Officer Andy Falzarano went to the employee training center at the park in response to a man acting irrationally and asking questions about the park’s security protocols.
They learned Fruchter had been escorted out of the park due to his behavior but had returned and began to harass employees because he had not been hired, Laskiewicz said.

Kelly and Falzarano learned from Fruchter that he had a handgun in his car, which was parked in the Six Flags parking lot. A search of the vehicle turned up a Glock 9mm handgun in a holster, three loaded 15-round magazines for the gun, several knives, a SOG machete, a SOG tactical tomahawk, several knives, handcuffs and a hat with the NYPD logo on it, Laskiewicz said.
After Fruchter was arrested, authorities then searched his home and found an AR-15 rifle, several 30-round magazines for the rifle and a Sig Sauer .40 caliber handgun and ammunition, Laskiewicz said.
