BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Council has approved a resolution to sell a retail liquor license that had belonged to the Corrado's grocery store.

The license, which had been inactive since Corrado's won it in an auction in October 2019, was awarded to BRX NJ License LLC. The limited liability company, set up in August, shares office space in Conshohoken, Pennsylvania, with Brixmor, the company that owns Laurel Square Shopping Center where Corrado's was supposed to open.

Corrado's was evicted from the premises at the shopping center in June following months of court action over a failure to pay its rent.
